Dr. Temenoff and Dr. Antonios Mikos (Rice University) recently published a new textbook -- Biomaterials: The Intersection of Biology and Materials Science. This book covers the fundamentals of biomaterials science and is an especially vital resource for undergraduate and graduate students. More information is available here.

Drs. Temenoff and Mikos were recently named the recipients of the 2010 ASEE Meriam/Wiley Distinguished Author Award.

Dr. Temenoff was recently selected — as one of fifty-three innovative young engineering professors across the country — to participate in the National Academy of Engineering's second Frontiers of Engineering Education (FOEE) symposium, held December 13th-16th, 2010 in Irvine, CA and sponsored by the O’Donnell Foundation.
